  • Harlem Globetrotters Sydney

    The world-famous Harlem Globetrotters are set to thrill Australians with their iconic brand of basketball during a national tour in April 2018.

    NBL Owner and Executive Director Larry Kestelman said he was delighted to bring the Harlem Globetrotters to Australia.

    “The Harlem Globetrotters have entertained millions of people all over the world for 92 years and we are excited to have them here in Australia next April,” he said.

    “We want to bring the biggest and best basketball events to Australia. We are in the business of delivering great family entertainment and the Harlem Globetrotters are just that.”

    First formed in 1926, the Harlem Globetrotters have become one of the most popular entertainment brands in the world, performing hundreds of live shows every year.

    Their unique basketball skills and wizardry have thrilled fans around the world and they are synonymous with family entertainment and breaking down barriers and social divides.

    They hold 17 Guinness World Record Titles and recently tipped off their 2018 `Amazing Feats of Basketball’ World Tour of more than 30 countries around the globe.

    27 April - Qudos Bank Arena

    Harry Styles’ self-titled debut album was released May 12th and soared to the top of the charts around the world. In the U.S. it topped the Billboard 200 album chart with over 230,000 equivalent album units sold and 193,000 traditional albums sold, making history as the biggest debut sales week for a U.K. male artist’s first full-length album since Nielsen Music began tracking sales in 1991.

  • The Killers

    28 April, Qudos Bank Arena

    The widely-acclaimed rock band will play seven arena shows on their biggest Australasian tour to date, touring in celebration of their fifth studio album 'Wonderful Wonderful'.

    Alex Cameron is one of a kind: a notorious misfit, enigmatic storyteller and subtle concept artist. Trainspotters will recognise him from Sydney-based electronic trio Seekae, but his solo projectwith his righthand man, Roy Molloy is from a completely different world. Be sure to check out ‘Strangers Kiss’, his recent duet with Angel Olsen that comes with a video clip starring and directed by Jemima Kirke of GIRLS fame.

  • Meatstock - The Music & Meat Festival

    5 May - 6 May, Sydney Showgrounds

    Meat lovers will have plenty to sink their teeth into with the Meatstock Festival held at the Sydney Showgrounds.

    The two-day meat filled extravaganza will feature bands, barbecues, beards, butchers, bourbon, barbers, beer and much more. Meat mad couples are not the only ones set to experience serious flavour hits across the board, as every purchase of an adult ticket comes with the option of a free children's ticket.

    Also unique to the festival are the Cutthroat Barber Wars, which will take place against a back drop of live blues bands including The Beards, The Snowdroppers and Henry Wagons. The big drawcard of the contest schedule, however, is the A&E Sydney Barbecue Wars, in which 40 teams from across the country will battle it for AUD8,000 in cash and prizes.

    Global superstar Niall Horan will bring his Flicker World Tour 2018 to Australia next June, with arena shows confirmed for Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. It is his first solo Arena tour, and will see him perform smash hits ‘Slow Hands’, ‘This Town’ and the brand new #1 itunes single ‘Too Much To Ask’, plus tracks off his forthcoming debut album.

    ‘Slow Hands’, is now Triple Platinum in Australia, went straight to Number One in 44 countries and has more than 820 million combined streams worldwide. Horan, who has sold over 70 million records as part of the all-conquering One Direction, has spent the past year writing and recording his debut solo album, which will be released prior to Christmas. Accompanying himself on guitar, his new material takes its inspiration from the music he has favored since childhood and his contemporaries – artists like Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles and Crosby, Stills and Nash, The Lumineers and James Bay.

    “I've been listening to a lot of early 80’s stuff lately and been inspired by that heavy bass and the funky guitar sound. It’s another flavor to my album that I’m excited to share," said Horan when discussing ‘Slow Hands.’

    Special guest on the Flicker World Tour 2018 is buzz US singer songwriter Maren Morris, who is currently causing a storm with debut album ‘Hero’ and breakout single ‘My Church’.

  • Professional Bull Riders Cup

    9 June - 10 June, Qudos Bank Arena

    Professional Bull Riders (PBR) has announced that the PBR Global Cup will travel to Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia on June 9-10, 2018 for the second leg of the inaugural PBR Global Cup, a five-nation competition among the best bulls and bull riders in the world.

    As PBR grows in popularity in the five countries in which the sport currently competes, the new global tournament features top athletes from Australia, Brazil, Canada, Mexico and the United States riding for their respective nation teams and an Australian-record $750,000 purse.

    TEG DAINTY has announced that Myer will present global pop superstar KATY PERRY’s WITNESS: The Tour, which will come to Australia in July and August in support of her new album Witness.

    Paul Dainty, President and CEO of TEG DAINTY promoted Katy's 2014 Australian tour and said today, "The response we received from the 2014 tour was phenomenal with Katy performing a staggering 23 shows across the country. Katy is one of the most powerful entertainers in the world and I am delighted to be promoting her 2018 Australian tour."
