Home to the Olympic Games in 2000, Sydney Olympic Park boasts 9 event venues for all manner of sports, exhibitions and concerts. Located in the geographical centre of Sydney, it is connected to major road networks in and around Sydney and is serviced by rail, bus and ferry links. The area is surrounded by 460 hectares of parklands accessible by a series of walking/cycling paths. Explore the boardwalk through the mangroves and the cycle trails, or climb the viewing towers. The park provides facilities for picnics and BBQs. Wander through the park and discover works of art, fountains and plenty of kids play equipment. Sydney Olympic Park has plenty of other interesting areas to explore also, including the Brick-pit Ring Walk and the historical Newington Armoury.

The Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre is the largest aquatic venue and there's always plenty to do!  From a health club to a fun interactive splasher's water playground (great for the kids)

fiji cure kids

Two employees of Accor's Sydney Olympic Park hotels are heading to Fiji to take part in the Cure Kids Fiji Island Extreme Challenge to raise funds for sick children in that country. Jane Broadhead, Conference Executive for the Pullman, Novotel and Ibis hotels in western Sydney and Rafael Ruiz, Marketing Executive will join around 20 other Accor colleagues in the gruelling four-day challenge with the aim of raising at least $4,000.

Over the course of the event the teams will undertake swimming, running, kayaking and other challenges to test their physical and mental endurance and do their bit to reduce infant and child deaths in Fiji.

The Parkinson's NSW Unity Walk raises awareness as well as funds for Parkinson's disease. This year, 50% of funds raised will support ongoing research and the other 50% will help Parkinson's NSW to provide ongoing support services for people living with Parkinson's, as well as their partners, carers and families.

A fun way for kids to learn how to dive and discover the underwater world at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre. Blue Tang Aquatics offers Try-A-Dive, a 5-day Scuba Rangers Course, Birthday Parties and Underwater Photography.

Visit the NSW sporting hall of fame at the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre and see photos and memorabilia of our champion athletes.  The centre is also home to the West Sydney Razorbacks basketball team and the Sydney Swifts netball team.

sports halls

The Sydney Olympic Park Sports Halls were provided by the NSW Government as a legacy of the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games.  They are the state training venue for Volleyball NSW, Badminton NSW, Handball NSW, Table Tennis NSW and Judo NSW.  The multi-purpose halls are also suitable for indoor soccer, netball and various martial arts.

hockey centre

The Sydney Olympic Park Hockey Centre is a training and competition venue for players of all levels ranging from school teams to world-class athletes.  The venue also has the versatility to stage grid-iron, touch football, Oztag and lacrosse.

tennis centre

Have a hit of tennis at the SYdney Olympic Park Tennis Centre.  Available for training and court hire seven days a week.  In January some of the world's best tennis players descend on the centre to play in the Medibank International, one favoured warm-up events before the Australian Open
