sydney olympic parkHome to the Olympic Games in 2000, Sydney Olympic Park boasts 9 event venues for all manner of sports, exhibitions and concerts. Located in the geographical centre of Sydney, it is connected to major road networks in and around Sydney and is serviced by rail, bus and ferry links. The area is surrounded by 460 hectares of parklands accessible by a series of walking/cycling paths. Explore the boardwalk through the mangroves and the cycle trails, or climb the viewing towers. The park provides facilities for picnics and BBQs. Wander through the park and discover works of art, fountains and plenty of kids play equipment. Sydney Olympic Park has plenty of other interesting areas to explore also, including the Brick-pit Ring Walk and the historical Newington Armoury.

fiji cure kids
Two employees of Accor's Sydney Olympic Park hotels are heading to Fiji to take part in the Cure Kids Fiji Island Extreme Challenge to raise funds for sick children in that country. Jane Broadhead, Conference Executive for the Pullman, Novotel and Ibis hotels in western Sydney and Rafael Ruiz, Marketing Executive will join around 20 other Accor colleagues in the gruelling four-day challenge with the aim of raising at least $4,000. Over the course of the event the teams will undertake
swimming, running, kayaking and other challenges to test their physical
and mental endurance and do their bit to reduce infant and child deaths
in Fiji.
