    Renowned around the world as one of the most dynamic live performers of her generation, Australia’s favourite international pop icon, P!NK, has announced her Beautiful Trauma World Tour will hit Australia and New Zealand in July - September of 2018.

  • Smooth Festival of Chocolate

    The Smooth Festival of Chocolate is a two day celebration of decadent desserts and sweet treats for the whole family, at Sydney Showgrounds on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 September, 2018.

    Due to the growing popularity of the festival, and after attracting almost 140,000 visitors to The Rocks last year, the smooth Festival of Chocolate will this year showcase Sydney’s most talented pastry chefs, chocolatiers and ice creameries at the Sydney Showground in Sydney Olympic Park.

    Families and chocolate lovers will experience a weekend of decadence with live cooking demonstrations, family entertainment, along with mouth-watering stalls, offering gourmet goodies to satisfy sweet-tooths and savoury fans alike.

    From rich, dark bean to bar chocolate made by hand to mouth-watering macaroons, silky smooth gelato, hand piped profiteroles the smooth Festival of Chocolate will bring your dessert dreams to life!

    Joining the line up of The Callebaut Test Kitchen for the first time is Benjamin Nicholls, our very own Precinct Executive Chef at AccorHotels Sydney Olympic Park.

  • Parko Techni 2018

    Parko Techni 2018 is a site-wide collection of six new temporary public artworks by artists who have been invited to respond to the Park’s unique of the Park, across various locations throughout the Sydney Olympic Park.

    One of these great installations can be viewed on the side of the Pullman Hotel. 

    Khaled Sabsabi’s large format projection, more than, elegantly combines images drawn from the site’s architectural structures with elements of the Park’s extraordinary environmental diversity (this artwork is viewable at night time only).

    Khaled Sabsabi’s process involves working across art mediums, geographical borders and cultures to create immersive and engaging art experiences.

    He see’s art as an effective tool to communicate with people, through a familiar language. Sabsabi makes work that questions and rationales the complexities of nationhood, identity and change. His practice speaks to audiences in ways that enlighten our understanding of universal dynamics which is more complex and ultimately moreunknowable than our own selves.

    Khaled was awarded the Helen Lempriere Travelling Art Scholarship in 2010, 60th Blake Prize in 2011, MCG Basil Sellers fellowship in 2014, the Fishers Ghost Prize in 2014 and the Western Sydney ARTS NSW Fellowship 2015.

    He is represented by Milani Gallery, Brisbane and has 14 works in private, national and international collections.

    He has also participated in the 3rd Kochi Biennale, 1st Yinchuan Biennale, 5th Marrakech Biennale, 18th Biennale of Sydney, 9th Shanghai Biennale and Sharjah Biennial 11.

    For Our Wounded Warriors

    The word ‘Invictus’ is Latin for ‘unconquered’ and embodies the fighting spirit of our wounded, injured and ill servicemen and women. They have been tested and challenged, but they have not been overcome. They have proven that by embracing each other and the support of family and friends, they can reclaim their future. They are Invictus.

    The Sydney Games will attract more than 500 competitors from 18 nations to compete in 11 adaptive sports and will recognise and thank families and friends for their role and the challenges they share in supporting our wounded warriors. Sydney will host around 1000 family and friends who’ll be in the stands cheering.

Fans need only wait just few months longer before the award-winning actress and recording artist will perform arena spectaculars this September and October.

    Expanding on her ecstatically-received appearance and show-stopping 20-minute set at this year’s Mardi Gras and Party, fans can expect to be dazzled by Cher’s renowned lavish and flamboyant costumes and elaborate stage production, while revelling in a more than 90-minute performance of hits and classics such as: “Believe”, “If I Could Turn Back Time”, “Strong Enough”, “I Found Someone”, “Gypsys, Tramps & Thieves”, as well as going all the way back to where it began, with “I Got You Babe”.
